Remember that silence can be a part of dialogue in an audio drama. It can build tension or give breathing space for the listener to digest information. A pause in dialogue can speak volumes.

4. Character-Driven Dialogue

Each line of dialogue should serve a purpose, whether advancing the plot or revealing something about the character. Characters should speak in a way that is true to their personality, background, and current situation.

5. Master Pacing and Rhythm

The rhythm of dialogue can greatly affect the pacing of the story. Fast-paced, short sentences can create a sense of urgency, while longer, drawn-out dialogues might be used for reflective or emotional scenes. Be mindful of how the dialogue's rhythm impacts the overall feel of the scene.
